I am a seasoned Dutch guitarist and composer with a career spanning over five decades. A lifelong devotee of the instrument, I have built a reputation for blending deep-rooted experience with a restless drive for innovation. At 63, My focus has shifted toward a new peak of technical precision, aiming for a “razor-sharp” execution that defines my current sound.
My artistic output is centered on the rhythmic synergy between P-Funk And Samba, exploring the complex syncopations of the partido alto and the clave. This fusion is currently coming to life through my new trio PFAS
Beside my ongoing work with and for the two P-Funk ensembles Flatlandelic Funkateers and Interplanetary Insects
Working in the studio with my producer, Phil Martin, I am currently in the midst of a prolific release cycle. Following a successful studio project completed in 2024, the first series of tracks was released on March 1st, 2026, with a second wave following on April 1st. Whether in the studio or the creative sanctuary in Galicia, Spain, I continue to push past the predictable, combining rigorous rhythmic discipline with unexpected, soulful harmonies. For ME Yo! No-D 4 P the search for the perfect “pocket” remains a lifelong pursuit.
